Pull-out Drawer
The Fa23 semi-automatic stencil printer is designed for flexible SMT production with easy PCB handling and fast product changeovers. Its convenient pull-out drawer provides quick access to the work area and makes PCB replacement fast and simple. Magnetic or vacuum table options, adjustable support bars, B-side printing up to 63.5 mm component height, and smooth pneu-hydraulic table separation support precise and repeatable printing.
Automatic Alignment and Process Control
The Fa23 can be equipped with an automatic stencil-to-board alignment system using unique through-stencil view technology. Two fixed cameras and advanced image analysis ensure precise, repeatable positioning, while digital filtering improves pad recognition on irregular surfaces.
The touchscreen interface provides easy setup of key print and alignment parameters, with process logging and protected access levels. Manual alignment is also available.
Print Head & Camera System
The Fa23 print head and camera system is designed for fast, precise setup and easy stencil changeover. Three-position squeegee height control allows quick adjustment to different stencil configurations, helping reduce setup time and maintain consistent printing conditions.
Separation Speed and Distance
The pneumatic-hydraulic system provides smooth and controlled separation of the PCB from the stencil, with programmable speed and adjustable snap-off distance to match the solder paste and printing requirements.
This is especially important for small components and high-density PCBs, helping maintain print accuracy while keeping PCB removal time short. The PCB also remains in its aligned position throughout the process for consistent, long-term printing stability.
Magnetic Fixtures and Support Rails
Magnetic support rails can be positioned quickly and adjusted for PCB thicknesses from 0.5 to 4 mm. Bottom support pins, vacuum posts and registration pins provide secure and flexible PCB fixturing, including boards with tooling holes.
Underside Cleaning
Integrated underside cleaning is built into a convenient pull-out drawer and uses a roll of cleaning paper for fast stencil underside cleaning. This helps maintain consistent printing quality and simplifies routine cleaning during production.
Squeegees
The easily accessible print head allows quick, tool-free squeegee replacement using snap-in clamping. Metal blades feature integrated paste deflectors to keep solder paste contained during printing, and different blade widths are available to suit various applications.
Squeegee Height Control
The Fa23 print head allows quick stencil changes without removing the dual squeegees. Three-position height control keeps the squeegees safely within the frame area, while the raised position helps keep solder paste ready and consistent for the next print.
