PBT Works at SMTconnect 2022

After three years we had the chance again to showcase our cleaning systems in Nuremberg at SMTconnect. We exhibited two of our latest cleaning systems - HyperSWASH and HyperCLEAN.

Both machines have been designed to reflect the current requirements and trends, to name the most significant:

Versatility. For the high-reliable assemblies, where cleaning after soldering is essential, there is an extensive range of applications and thus a significant difference between assemblies. HyperSWASH can change nozzle configurations and PCB clamping within five minutes. Therefore, the PCB manufacturer can handle many easy-to-clean assemblies and a smaller number of difficult-to-clean ones.

Cost-effectiveness. The new rinsing system of both types of equipment allows the rinse configuration to be changed according to the situation (effluent limits). The settings can also be changed during operation depending on the flux residue load of the process and the drag-over amount depending on the assemblies' geometry.

Minimization of operators. Both types of machines can have an automatic loading and unloading of products linked to the start of the process. Loading automation makes the machines ready for full integration into unattended equipment operation by AGV-AMR (Automatic Guided Vehicle - Autonomous Mobile Robot).

Maintenance automation. At the same time, the refilling of media can be fully automated on these machines based on actual data from the machine. Such automation is also supported by the newly developed OCS (Organic Carbon Sensor). This unique device can measure the depletion of active carbon filters, the quality of the discharged wastewater, and the resulting quality for non-ionic residues, which is essential for special applications.

Both types of machines have automated cleaning of the circulation tanks.

In addition - Process diagnostics. The diagnostic device that has been exhibited (OCS) and the automatic tester for calibration of Glass Test Boards (VERINAS) allow for rapid determination of optimal process parameters, checking its stability in accordance with the new IPC directive J-STD 001 H.
